Representing the leading cruise companies operating in Europe, the aims of the ECC are twofold:

1. to promote the interests of cruise operators with the EU Institutions in all matters of shipping policy and ship operations.

2. to promote cruising by the European public and encourage expansion of the European cruise market.

The Cruise Industry plays an important role in the economy of the EU, as an employer to tens of thousands, supplier to and buyer from thousands of companies and service provider to millions of people every year.
